Tools to test the ignition when you suspect that there is a problem.
Measuring range: 0-40,000 Volts
Use:
- Connect the spark plug to the ignition tester
- Ground the clamp
- Set the adjusting screw to approximately 10mm
- Make sure the ignition tester does not come close to the ground
- The engine can now be started
IMPORTANT:
- If your engine has several cylinders, the remaining parts of the ignition system must be grounded (otherwise, parts of the ignition system may be damaged)
- If you have removed the spark plugs, a petrol mixture may come from the cylinder
- Only use the ignition switch set screw when ignition is switched off
- When ignition is switched on, do not touch the ignition tester.
